Miss the Boat is a light hearted comedy about a young woman Maggie and her attempt to prevent her drunk brother Jimmy, a ship hand, from missing his boat to Guatemala. However, life is never simple! Maggie encounters more than her fair share of bad luck, and has to fight off the unwanted passions of the almost comatose, if not delusional, Jimmy, en route.
